Research programme 04

Diagnostics and therapeutic translation

We develop isoform-specific tools and apply them to cancer predisposition, biomarker development and therapeutic strategies.

This programme develops the enabling technologies for isoform-resolved p53 biology, including antibodies, experimental protocols and defined models.

Translational directions include broader cancer genetics, liquid-biopsy concepts and strategies that use p53-isoform biology to improve engineered antitumour T cells.
